I finished my Woodland Creatures Quartet! I am so happy. I love it when I finish things and I can just sit back and admire them. And I love doing series. That is why I adore illustrating fics so much.
I already showed you my sparrow, or birdie as I call him, and my squirrel. Now it's time to share my fox and my owl.

Pretty, aren't they?
They also look gorgeous framed in my handy Ikea frame:

I am so happy about my nice neat little series. Here they are all together:

I have them in my etsy shop as both a pack of four greeting cards and a pack of four postcards.
Later on I plan on doing a Jungle Animals Quartet and an Arctic Animals Quartet. Which will bring me up to twelve animals. Which.... Would mean I would have the perfect number for making a calendar! Guess who inspired me to make a calendar?
I am so happy with my little animals that I have also been thinking about using them as covers for the handmade notebooks I am thinking of making and printing them on tote bags. What do you say?

These would all do wicked well if you had them sold at a stall or a craft faire!
I am definitely going to try a market stall once I have enough stock!
I really like the idea of wall prints, though I guess I would prefer them all to have the same background colour then.
I tried them out as wall prints. Because it's hard finding acid free (ie will not fade or change colour with time) coloured paper, I used black paper. But I did add a coloured background with paint first. I made a post on my other blog about my experiences with the papers I tried out and photos of the prints:
