Stitching up notebooks

So, yeah. Lately I have been really into stitching up little soft-cover notebooks. It's a lot of fun, and the results are so adorable! I just want to hug my little baby notebooks!

I spent hours last night writing up a big long-winded tutorial about, complete with photos and everything. If you want to check it out it's over here on my inkdoodles blog.

Oops! I am becoming so sloppy at answering comments it's ridiculous.

I am really getting into making notebooks. I have all sorts of ideas I want to do!

Thank you! The owl doesn't look like it's going anywhere... I have decided to make as many notebooks as I can by spring and try selling them in a market because etsy isn't really working.

The funny thing is that I have two etsy shops: the mayfly78 one with fandomy stuff and the inkdoodles one with original stuff. I have barely done any advertising for the mayfly78 one, just here on lj. And yet it gets the most hits and makes the most sales. Purely on the power of Harry Potter themed searches on etsy.

For my Inkdoodles one I have joined a number of etsy teams and try to be as active as I can. I have made a website and a blog that I try to update as often as I can. Plus I made a facebook account and a professional facebook page and tracked down old friends and classmates specifically for advertising purposes . I also made a twitter account, but all I did is link it to facebook so my tweets are basically my facebook posts. I also became a member of various forums but never seem to find the time to participate as much as I'd like. I do need to spend time actually making stuff!
